Thanks for the videos. Didn't it say he was a wing on the home page? Anyhow, yeah it looks like the kid can get up a little bit.

Super athlete with an iffy shot, from what I've read. Still, would be pretty sweet to have someone that athletic on the roster again.

Knee-jerk comparison is that he's a more-muscular Laron Profit who hasn't developed a jump shot yet.

if he develops a jumper he's going to be a nasty player. Would love to have a sick athlete like him on the team should he choose to come here.

I'm thinking Ohio State might get in on him though.

Here's a profile of him on an Ohio State website:

http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/2...-decommit.html

Edit: FWIW, I think he's a PF at the next level. He's incredibly long and athletic. IF(HUGE IF) he develops his jump shot quickly, I think he could develop into a three, but I think most schools would be better off just playing small with him at the four. In college you can get away with players like that playing the four spot.

Xavier decommit is a baller. Like everyone has been saying he's a super athlete with no shot at this time. I follow Xavier hoops and the comparision here is Derrick Brown. Brown came in with sick athletic ability and no jump shot. If he comes here and developes a J then he could be a 20 and 8 kind of SF/PF. However also as mentioned it might be tough to pull him out of columbus, he has two teammates AAU already committed to the Buckeyes.

If he doesn't have the shot already, we really don't have a program that gives a player time to develop it. I see a pretty solid bench player out of JDW, which is actually a role that we need.

You can't teach that athleticism, especially if we're pressing. Having finishers is never a bad thing.

True Dat! I want another shooter in 2010 though. If we can take 4 in 2010I would be very cool with Stoglin, Ross, Barton or Harris and Weatherspoon.

Will Barton next please.

He's like a kid who only throws a straight fastball, but he can throw it 96. If he develops a change up, look out.

looks just like a leaper to me, could be a solid 4 year guy though and like everyone said if he gets a shot he could be a steal if we get him, reguardless it would be nice to have a finisher who can throw it done with ease like that everytime.

I suppose if he's only a super-athletic Horace Broadnax or Calvin McCall he could end up being a valuable addition to the team. Depends on who he'd displace and whether he's got a do-anything attitude.

In the past, he'd be the type we'd recruit as our second best player in a large class. But now with our recruiting domination, he'd be a great 4th or 5th guy in a 5 man class.

Those are elite dunks.
